Two Pillars
of Our Work
The NANRO Foundation nurtures the people and preserves the knowledge that will carry Korean cuisine into tomorrow — through two programs: NANRO Next for talent development, and NANRO Academy for education and research.

We seek out the people advancing Korean cuisine and support their education, experiments, and business networks through fellowships and patron programs.

We document and systematize the knowledge of Korean cuisine, running structured courses and research on fermentation, jang, fire, and ingredients.
